Last updated

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Alvia, and to the applications and agents that call it.

  • Break any law, or help someone else do so

  • Harass, threaten, defraud or exploit anyone, or build tools that do

Do not send these kinds of data

  • Health information protected by HIPAA (the US health privacy law)
  • Payment card numbers
  • Passwords, API keys and other secrets Send personal information only when you have the right to send it. Do not abuse the Free plan

  • Do not have more than one Free organization.
  • Do not use more organizations or user accounts to get more free usage, or to get around an allowance, a limit, a suspension or a payment.

Do not attack or overload the Service

  • Do not probe, scan or test Alvia for weaknesses, except good-faith security research that uses only your own organization and data, does not overload the Service, stops and is reported to security@alvia.ai as soon as it reaches anyone else’s data, and stays private until we have fixed the issue. We will not take legal action against research that follows these rules.
  • Do not access, or try to access, another customer’s data or API keys.
  • Do not send malware or code meant to damage or disrupt systems.
  • Do not get around rate limits, allowances or other limits.
  • Do not interfere with the Service or put an unreasonable load on it.

Do not misuse access

  • Do not publish API keys, or put them in client-side code or public repositories.
  • Do not resell or share access to the Alvia API itself, for example by offering it to others as your own API, without our written agreement. You may build products that use Alvia.
  • Do not copy, reverse engineer or try to extract Alvia’s source code, models or prompts, except where the law allows it.

Report misuse

Report a security issue to security@alvia.ai. Report any other misuse to privacy@alvia.ai.

What we do

If you break this policy, we may act as section 8 of the Terms of Service describes, such as by limiting requests and revoking API keys or by suspending and closing organizations. We update this policy as section 19 of the Terms of Service describes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
